Mas Optica

Great obscure band from early '90's from USA named Mas Optica with some very interesting moments on their first and same time swan song release. Choose To See More is the title of the album released in 1993 on Red decibel records. It is one of the most original bands I've come across this year. Never knew this band until last year in October, I decided to check them out. Little expensive, but worth every penny for it, believe me. 10 tracks gathering strong ideas, from progressive movements with acoustic guitar (and very well performed) to some very technical thrash moments, really great combination and above all a clean voice who fits perfectly in the mix. I was very pleasently surprised about this very obscure band, wonder why , because the music is awesome , realy. Musicianship is top notch, just prepare for the best on pieces as Trust, Feeling, Way out, realy fantastic and quite original mixture. I will give 3.5 for sure for this forgotten treasure in this field. recommended, for prog metal fans as for more towards technical thrash and even to those who like more psychedelic parts thrown in. Great!
