Bug!

Bug! is a power-pop band from Minneapolis centered around guitarist/vocalist Rick Meyer (formerly of the local band Sam Iam -- not the similarly named pop-punk group) and ex-Holiday Ranch vocalist Karen Paurus. The duo got together in 1993 after the breakups of their respective bands and shortly thereafter added a rhythm section of producer/bassist John "Strawberry" Fields and drummer Jon Niefeld (formerly with the Rembrandts). A self-titled debut was released in 1994.
