Minneapolis Does Denver

Producer John "Strawberry" Fields leads a stable of October Records artists -- including Marlee MacLeod & Kristin Mooney, Tina & the B-Side Movement, the Delilahs, the Honeydogs, and 14 others -- through a batch of John Denver covers as a tribute to the late songsmith. Most of the bands are relatively unknown, some deservedly; some, however, acquit themselves well and prevent the whole project from becoming a mere marketing gimmick.
