Stubbing though the maze of so-called ”Retro” bands it can make you wonder who's sound is the purest and why? Being so many roots musicians get stuck playing one style of music, it can leave you wanting more. The Vibro Champs take their grab bag of sounds and mix it up in a way that makes you feel as if rockabilly belongs with jazz and hillbilly fits right in with swing, not to mention the monster that comes out on the closet every once and awhile and scares the hell out of you. This band makes you feel like you're on a tour of a freak show, everything so new and unique and yet so familiar at the same time.

With a nonstop touring schedule as the frequent opener for the likes of El Vezand Ronnie Dawson, not to mention all those promotional gimmicks and internet antics. These boys work so hard they make James Brown look like a slacker .
