Full Time Men
You might think Full Time Men would be a few devoted musicians worklng 24 hours a day to perfect a sound so great, so unique, so destined to be the “next big thing.” Well, that ain't quite the way it is. Full Time Men is a part time venture of Fleshtone - Keith Streng (guitar and lead vocals), devoted to “Rock’n’ Roll, Good Times and Wild Music”. The group also features Gordon Spaeth (sax, harp), Robert Warren (bass, vocals). and Bill Milhizer (drums), all full time members of New York's wild and crazy Fleshtones, and Rich Thomas (lead guitar, vocals) from LESR (That's Lower East Side Rockers for you out-of-towners), a short-lived rock'n' roll band that would frequent the dingiest of Manhattan's Bowery nightclubs.
Since their debut EP on Coyote In 1986, Full Time Men have become a hard worklng live unit playing to packed bars and nightclubs In New York City. They've recently started to play gigs up and down the east coast, and plan to spread their manic pop thrill across America. At any given time In any given city you don't know what might be in store for you when you go and see Full Time Men, because they have lots o'friends. Dig their honorary guest list, man: Peter Zaremba (Fleshtones), Pat DiNizio (Smithereens), Jeff Connolly (Lyres), Dave Faulkner (Hoodoo Gurus), Stiv Bators and Pete Buck (now what band is he In again?).
One thing ls for sure. it's gonna be a hot strudel of a whap-a-dang rock'in’ all out stomping’ fiesta !!!
